The educational book publisher Scholastic asks “eight outstanding librarians” for their predictions of key developments in education for the coming year. Their contributions include silent conversations in the classroom, paperless libraries, makerspace technology (use of 3D scanners and printers) and a new focus on libraries themselves, which, one librarian suggests, have a marketing problem.
