No doubt many teachers will be aware of some websites recommended by Oxfordlearning.com, such as The Canadian Education Association and Scholastic, which come highly recommended. Others, perhaps less well known, seem worthy of a look. For example: Ideas and Thoughts, a blog by Dean Shareski of Discovery Education Canada; and Miss L’s Whole Brain Teaching, a blog by a Manitoba teacher who, Oxford says, focuses on “teaching ideas, resources sorted by subject area, and ‘whole brain teaching.’ Her writing style is fun and encouraging and her tone is perfect for new teachers.”
